Órgiva is a town municipality in the Alpujarra mountains in the province of Granada, Andalucia. It has a population of around 6,000 and lies in the Alpujarra valley between the Sierra de Lujar and Sierra Nevada. In recent years it has become a popular tourist destination for those visiting the Alpujarras, and the town is often described as “the gateway” to this area. A large market is held on Thursdays. The accommodation on the edge of Orgiva, is based on 2 rustic cortijos (cottages) (property 1, El Bamboo: 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4; property 2, El Olivo: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 6), set in 2 acres of grounds, with swimming pool, in a quiet area on the edge of Orgiva. Each property has its own kitchen, bathrooms and living/dining area.

The swimming pool is available between mid-April and mid-October.
If we have adequate space to give you your own room, we are happy to do so with no single room supplement.
However if you wish to guarantee a single room in advance, there will be a single room supplement of 10 GBP per night.
The kitchens are fully equipped, and the site offers safe bike storage and workshop facilities. The cortijo comes with TV with UK satelite, DVD player, MP3 speaker system and washing machine.
