Summer High Altitude Programme – has been nominated as an Unordinary Trip of the
Month by InfoHub.com, the #1 travel portal on the Internet specialized in the out-of-ordinary
adventures. This is a wonderful opportunity to incite and see more travelers from all around the
world pedaling for their holidays in Spain, while cycling at the covered altitudes helps to avoid
the worst of the heat and has the additional advantage of raising red blood cell count, and
therefore, fitness levels!
For more fun, we are excited to offer our guests a special prize! Any of you who book a package
with Biking Andalucia before December 20, 2017 may be eligible for a very special prize from

Cycling at this altitude means we can avoid the worst of the heat and has the additional advantage of raising your red blood cell count, and therefore your fitness levels.
The majority of the rides will be at over 2000 metres altitude, culminating in a ride to the top of Pico Veleta – mainland Spain’s second highest mountain at 3400 metres (10,300 feet) – and a 3100metre (10,300 ft.) descent to Orgiva.
We will spend 2 nights at the Refugio Poqueira at 2,500 metres. This a very comfortable refiugo, with bar, restaurant, reading room, kitchen and sun terraces, with dormitory type bedrooms – a fantastic place to stay. The other nights will be spent at our base in Orgiva.
Cost is only £440 for the week (why pay more for an inferior holiday, with the big operators), this includes guiding for the week and transfers, accommodation (including 2 nights at the Refugio), breakfast and a packed lunch when required. Costs £180 per person per week for non cycling clients.
